Periodic Planned Maintenance reduces the chances of a catastrophic failure as we can identify potential problems before they manifest themselves as a major breakdown, placing personnel at risk and compromising your building security. A risk assessment can also be carried out at the same time to ensure your equipment is correct for it's intended use.

Preventative Planned Maintenance on doors and shutters is often overlooked although it is normal practice to maintain vehicles, photocopiers, alarms, boilers etc.

Current legislation places a duty of care on building owners and occupiers to ensure that doors and ancillary equipment on their buildings are periodically maintained by a competent organisation or person and records kept. We can take on your responsibilities in this area by carrying out planned maintenance on your doors and shutters.

Most manufacturers will insist on a minimum period of 12 months between scheduled maintenance tasks.

We can carry out a full inspection and service, which includes minor repairs or adjustments. A detailed report will be completed for each door and submitted. 

Alternately, we can carry out an inspection only and complete a detailed report to submit which will outline all aspects of your door which require attention, or simply reassure you that your asset is in good safe working order.
