Security Keyswitches are a common, easily recognisable means of opening and closing electrical operated Security Doors and Roller shutters. Whilst they serve a purpose for use under normal circumstances, determined burglars or unauthorised people trying to gain access  can circumvent any such security device, with the right knowledge, tools and equipment. It is entirely possible that ill-intentioned people can buy such keyswitch devices and learn how to access them.

With this in mind, always being at the forefront of innovation, we at Camdoors introduced a simple auxiliary device to prevent this happening. A case study was recently forced upon one of our customers in Hertfordshire, when their building was attacked by people trying to gain access. Their Security Shutter  keyswitch was compromised, but they were unable to open it! The burglars went away empty handed on this occasion.

We can supply and fit this feature to existing door systems. All we require is a power supply near the door and access to your control site wiring! This device can also be used to allow simple over-ride of any other type of Electrically Operated Door or Shutter  which needs to be restricted to trained users only.

Please note, a manual over ride facility to access the door or shutter will be required in the normal way, should a power failure occur.
